I just had to turn on comment verification as comment spam was starting to come in.
Hopefully as comments are limited it will not be a pain

Ha Ha Ha ! ! !

Ah look they are doing the guest dj thing that happened last year.

From http://www.6767.com/ ( Dave Navarros site )

"Tuesday morning, I will be filling in for Dickie Barrett on Indie 103.1 from 6:00am-10:00am PST. Early mornings. Yuck!!!"

Julie-
Liz and Stacey will be back on Monday and i'm sure they'll appreciate your support.
We needed to make a change with the host.
Other than that, nothing is changing....Indie will continue to do what we do.
Hopefully you'll continue to be a part of our team.
thanks.

Hey guys at indie! I'm a huge mighty morning show fan, from deep south Texas. I'm really disappointed that they are no longer on. What's going on? Please put them back on! They are the best thing on your station. Dicky, Stacey, Liz (I love Liz), and Chuck, are truly missed.

The show really was Dicky.
You could hear that from the St Patricks day show. Looks like guest hosts for a week then some hopeless radio clone.

I don't know if anyone else tuned in this morning. but after 10 mins i was ready to throw up in my mouth. Poor liz was on trying to do the best she could with Van Stone, but they clearly weren't having any part of it. Alas I am done with Indie and back to shuffle on the old ipod. RIP MMS.

This morning's show made my ears bleed. I listened for three minutes, heard someone burp and shut it off. A travesty.

Today was the first I heard. Sad day for me. Dickie Barrett was the most engaging personality on the air in SoCal, played the most varried song list, and included just enough goofiness to keep the show from getting stuffy like Morning Becomes Eclectic. Mr. Steele is going to find that Dickie already had the show perfectly balanced. More interviews with models (like Dave Navarro was doing this morning) are not going to draw any KNB fans away, but they will push me over to NPR.

Happy to find all this here on the Internets. I had written to the PD, Michael Steele, and surprisingly he wrote back to my first email, but not the more biting second one where I reamed him. Feel free to read both in a 2-part blog on MySpace: www.myspace.com/yaeger (sorry, you'll have to cut'n'paste)
