Wed July 13th

The Show
Chuck was not feeling well; Stacey was after yesterday's nine-hour hangover. Called my mother regarding her birthday, which as yesterday. I pretended that I thought it was today. She said she had a "lovely birthday with her sisters June and Babe" and that she ran into my lifelong pal Brian Hayes at Home Depot, where she's been working. My guests were not strangers to the show, and the laughs were a-plenty.

The Guests
Comedian Doug Benson, and the main member of the Dwarves, Blag Dahlia. Doug was sharp, funny, and quick all morning, like he is every time he comes on the show. Blag was very forthcoming with what happened when he was hit in the head by Josh Homme with a bottle. He also put together a clean Dwarves Greatest Hits CD, especially for me. Whenever pals like these guys come on the show Liz calls us "rutting elk" for some reason. She's also concerned with someone breaking my jaw.

Classic exchange from today;
Dickys Mom "I had to go to my job"
Dicky "..Selling drugs to the local kids ?"
Dicksys Mom ( Slightest pause ) "...Like theres anything wrong with that"

Giving as good as you take.
